iTunes Review

Although her debut album 19 was critically acclaimed it was its follow-up 21 which really thrust Adele into the limelight. The album, drawing on personal heartache, takes its influences from country, soul and motown, with the singer's powerful and emotive voice brought fully to the fore. This is the classic break-up album for contemporary times.

Je pense tout de même avoir un gros faible pour Set Fire To The Rain (just magistralement sublime), Rolling In The Deep, Rumous Has It, One and only et Someone Like You.

Adele - immer besser!

Adele, mach bitte weiter so!

Eifach nor top!!!

Influenced by Roberta Flack and Suzanne Vega as much as Jill Scott, Adele soon became a phenomenon in her own right; her second album, 21, eventually sold an estimated 30 million copies worldwide, making her one of the few sales successes in an age of digital streaming. Adele first made an impression in 2006 when her demo landed...
