The Cave is a new adventure game from Monkey Island and Maniac Mansion creator Ron Gilbert, and Double Fine Productions, the award-winning studio behind Psychonauts and Brütal Legend.
Assemble your team of three from seven unlikely adventurers, each with their own unique personalities and stories, then descend into the mysterious depths to explore locations including a subterranean amusement park and a medieval castle, not to mention a fully armed and ready-to-launch nuclear tipped ICBM. Viele Spass, trotz manchmal nervigem gerenne!
Ich hatte viel Spass bei dem Spiel, es ist humor- und liebevoll gestaltet. Die Grafiken sind sehr einfach gehalten, was mich nicht störte, aber stimmig, wie die Figuren auch.
Schade find ich, muss man gewisse Gebiete wiederholen, wenn man alle Gebiete und Aufgaben kennen lernen will. Ich hätte ja lieber 9 Figuren und keine Wiederholungen gehabt.
Die Steuerung mit der Maus ist mühsam, weil nicht präzise. Also nehmt die Tasten. Ab und an bugt es noch und mit den Wiederholungen gibt das einen Stern Abzug.
Ich kann das Spiel sonst nur empfehlen. Stimmige Gebiete und Rätsel zu den einzelnen Figuren, angenehmer Schwierigkeitsgrad, man bleibt nicht ewig stecken. Ich mag keine jump and run, weil ich Grobmotoriker bin, das war aber gut zu spielen für mich ;) .
Super Spiel!
Liebevolle Grafik und unglaublich lustige Dialoge. Stellenweise auch so knifflig, dass ich im Internet Rat suchte um schneller weiter zu kommen. The Cave bereitet einem sicher einige Stunden Spass und man kann es mehrmals mit anderen Charakteren durchspielen. Meinem Vor-Rezensent Nokinoko kann ich mich nicht anschliessen, den «The Cave» läuft einwandfrei auf meinem iMac wie auch auf meinem MacBook. Ein Spiel mit viel Liebe gemacht.
Genial!
Das Spiel ist einfach genial! Ich habe es sicher 6 mal durchgespielt! Im Internet habe ich noch einige Eastereggs gefunden und musste diese natürlich ausprobieren. =D
Auf meinem MacBook Pro (late 2009) läuft es jedoch nicht sauber, es ruckelt relativ stark und somit wird die Steuerung etwas mühsam. Mit einem externen Display kam mein MB gar nicht zurecht bei diesem Spiel. Auf dem integrierten Display ging es aber mit weniger Ruckeln.
Für die Rätsel ist es praktisch, dass die Maus und/oder die Tastatur als Eingabe verwendet werden können. Manchmal geht's mit der Tastatur einfach besser. ;-)
Die Rätsel sind nicht so schwer (Monkey Island ist da meiner Meinung nach viel schwieriger), jedoch genau so komisch/lustig.
Fazit:
Trotz nicht ganz flüssigem Spiel war der Spielspass jedoch durchgehend. Die Sprüche sind einfach "hilarious"!
