Listen and learn about life.
When I first listened to this podcast, it was so unusual and weird. Turns out that this is the best part about it, because it does not aks the usual questions. The conversations and stories take unexpected turns, but are guided with delicacy and sensitivity. HIghly addictive stuff.
Purely awesome
Jeff always asks his listeners to write a review on Itunes, since I know out of own experience that this is extremely valuable. I always thought, uggh, does he really need to say this in every episode? While browsing my itunes library I found Here be monsters in the store and saw ONE review. Time to write one:
this is an absolutely awesome podcast. Jeff manages to catch the most awesome hidden stories in a fast-paced an anonymous world! he can talk about a lot of sensitive topics, with a lot of objectism. I am a christian and usually when there are podcasts about faith, it's usually to "prove how false faith is", meanwhile jeff always manages to treat all subjects with respects.
sure, not every episode is 10/10, but there are definitely masterpieces. For example the satan hotline. or the guy in myanmar.
Etheral soundscapes and fascinating stories
The first three episodes didn't catch my fancy, but I persevered until it caught me. Riveting stories of the strange, unknown realms of the mind and world. It's difficult not to binge listen... Gotta space it out for commuting!
