Songs 2 is the sequel to Rich Mullins' flawless original greatest-hits collection, Songs, fleshing out the overview with a selection of high-quality items that didn't quite make the cut the first time around. That's not a knock on the songs, because Mullins' catalog is so full of gems that there simply wasn't room for them; while they aren't the absolutely crucial portions of his output, these songs do help make the case for the breadth and expanse of his talents. The first volume is a better listen, of course, but Songs 2 is a worthy addition.
