Andalusian duo Andy & Lucas return with another set of melodic rumba flamenca and pop ballads. Pido la Palabra was produced by Miguel Collado, and includes standard love songs as well as others dealing with current social matters, such as Spain's economic crisis. Besides the first single "Aquí Sigo Yo," the title track — dedicated to a young missing woman, presumably murdered — is ostensibly the album's centerpiece and appears in two versions, the main one featuring guest vocalist Diana Navarro. A digital version adds the bonus track "De Colores."

Flamenco-inspired pop duo Andy & Lucas (Andrés Morales and Lucas González) first knew each other as neighbors and friends in their Cadiz neighborhood of La Laguna.
