This album consists of thirty-two Shirelles classics. Before the Supremes the Shirelles was the definitive female vocal group — everybody's sweethearts — who waxed songs by the best writers the Brill Building had to offer. Their recordings don't sound dated like the vast majority of tunes from that era do today. Still strong are "Dedicated to the One I Love," "Tonight's the Night," "Will You Love Me Tomorrow," "Baby It's You," "Soldier Boy," plus a whole slew of just as good, but not as well known, masterpieces.
