Robert Carr and Johnny Mitchell were the doo wop duo Robert and Johnny, releasing several hits in New York for the Old Town label, their biggest being "We Belong Together." Like other doo wop acts whose success arced in the mid- to late '50s, Robert and Johnny sputtered along into the early '60s switching to the Sue label where the door slammed shut on their recording career. This Collectables disc is a fantastic representation of 25 Old Town tracks, the majority written by Carr and Mitchell.
