Sansone's dulcimer is out front, with appropriate little touches here and there from various traditional Celtic and contemporary instruments. Traditional carols and dances, some well-known and some less so, include tunes from Scottish, English, French, Spanish, and German musical traditions — "God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen," "I Saw Three Ships," "Wexford Carol," "Lo, How a Rose E'er Blooming," etc.

Traditional Celtic stylist Maggie Sansone was the daughter of a jazz pianist who each year gave his daughter a new musical instrument at Christmas; a versatile talent who mastered everything from the guitar to piano to bassoon, she found her true calling as an adult, discovering the hammered dulcimer.
