This three-disc set collects a disc each from three of Britain's early rock & roll artists, Billy Fury, Cliff Richard, and Marty Wilde, presenting hit singles and key sides from each. These British performers were a hair more restrained than their American rockabilly counterparts, with more of a pop edge, traits that helped them fare a little better than those same American counterparts when the British Invasion, spearheaded by the Beatles, turned things back around and brought rock & roll, somewhat transformed, back to American shores.
