Only one year after his proper debut album, Alter Ego, German-Iranian rapper Fard released the follow-up, Invictus (Latin for "Undefeated"). With fewer battle raps and guest appearances than before, the album puts its focus on Fard's storytelling, discussing his problematic past ("Seine Geschichte") and offering social criticism ("Kinder des Zorns," "Wir Sind Hier"). The 16-track album debuted at number 11 in the German album charts. The Premium Edition adds two bonus tracks, including "NRW," which features Farid Bang and Summer Cem.
