Raga Jait is a live recording made in London in June 1990. According to Hariprasad Chaurasia in the liner notes, the Jait raga is the only one which is sung or played in both the morning and evening: in the morning, "Jait" is based on a morning melody which is known as the raga "Vibhas" and in the evening, the raga is based on a very well-known evening raga "Marwa."
