The Gloria Trevi best-of compilation Serie Platino rounds up 20 highlights from the five albums she released from 1989 to 1995. Classic Trevi hits like "Dr. Psiquiatra," "El Último Beso," and "Pelo Suelto" are in abundance. Nothing postdates the turn of the century, when Trevi mounted an impressive comeback with Cómo Nace el Universo (2004) and Una Rosa Blu (2007). All that mars this otherwise valuable retrospective collection is the alphabetical track sequencing, which starts with "A la Madre" and "Amor Apache" and concludes with "Tu Angel de la Guarda" and "Zapatos Viejos."
