Album Review

This interesting collector's LP (released in Japan and made available domestically for just a short time) has a variety of rare tracks from the legendary Quincy Jones big band's Mercury sessions. In addition to "Moanin'," other highlights include "Daylie Double," "Parisian Thoroughfare," "The Midnight Sun Will Never Set," and "The Preacher."
