Essentially singer-songwriter Kevin DeBroux, Pink Reason fits comfortabley amongst a long line of lo-fi bedroom weirdos who embrace off-kilter structures, a free use of noise, and a fractured social outlook ahead of preciuous heart-on-sleeve naval gazing. Though he started recording in Wisconsin in the early 2000s, DeBroux bounced around the the country building an underground following before calling New York City home around 2008. DeBroux's recorded output has been consistent, yet sonically varied, ranging from the nearly goth-like sounds of the Siltbreeze released CLEANING THE MIRROR to the pure punk of the single "Borrowed Time."
