Still completely unknown in Western Europe in the eighties, pianist Grigory Sokolov was a rising star from Russia. With Sokolov, we discover a unique, powerful and highly characteristic world of sound. The master allowed Bruno Monsaingeon to film him one evening in November 2002, at the Théâtre des Champs Elysées in Paris.
