Album Review

The Jaynetts, or the Hearts (the two groups had the same members and vocal style and made exactly the same kind of records), had a number one hit in 1963 with the brilliant, lightly funky "Sally Go 'Round the Roses," then in a blip, when the follow-up singles failed to connect with any kind of an audience, the Jaynetts, or the Hearts, were gone into the vast, swirling fog of pop culture history.
