Review
This was the first game in the series that changed the topdown view to the third-person one we know today, thus started off well-known serie Grand Theft Auto (GTA).
The game is set in fictional Liberty City, but it's most likely based on New York City. You play as a bank robber called 'Claude' that got betrayed by his partners and is thirsty for revenge.
For proceeding in a main story line, you have to pick-up missions from certain characters. Many of those missions aren't mandatory in order to move forward in the story. Besides main story line, you can do smaller side activities, such as taxi driving, rescuing people as ambulance, being a police man or fireman.
The only bad thing, I've found, were controls, but with enough patience, you can get over it.
The classic one
When does came out on the PC, I was blown away by the graphics and gameplay. Now that it’s on the App Store, it’s just a wonderful thing to play, especially with the controller. The story, the missions, the cities, it’s all here and as great as ever.

Awesome, Improved graphics, the only limit is the controls, which simply can't be as thorough and precise as with pc/console
