like meeting an old friend
Loved it so much! Monument Valley 2 has many different features from the original, but you can still tell it's the same world. It has a similar enchanting effect, thanks to a combination of the visuals, music, storyline and gameplay.
As someone who genuinely loves the original, Monument Valley 2 feels like meeting an old friend and learning all about what they've been up to and how they've grown and changed.
If you allow yourself to relax and fully appreciate everything that Monument Valley is, it can give you a wonderful feeling of contentment.

I think this is my first review on mobile game ever. Oh god. This is masterpiece. MV1 is great, but I’m speechless after finishing this sequel. Thank you.
Mind-blowing as a visual story, not very challenging as a puzzle game
The Escherian world of the game is as mind-blowing as ever.
But don’t expect much challenge from the puzzles, they mostly land themselves to an easy solution. This is a pity, it was when solving the puzzles that I enjoyed the logic of the worlds the most in Monument Valley 1. Here, one spends more time watching animations than interacting with the game, let alone thinking of a solution.
