Když jsem si KotOR z App Store původně koupil, jel (na dost novém Macu) jako s**t. Aspyr si toho ale všiml a údajně pracuje na patchi. Mezitím, pokud vám hra jede.. no spíš nejede, zkuste to, co doporučuje přímo Aspyr: otevřete Terminal, vepiště následující příkaz: "defaults write com.aspyr.KOTOR EnableBumpyShiny -bool YES" -- vážně to vyřešilo moje problémy s výkonem!

Děkuji tvůrcům a děkuji Apple..
Jedna z nejzásadnějších her, které jsem měl tu možnost hrát před lety ještě na PC. Docela jsem na Knights of the old Republic zapomněl. Několik let jsem je nechal ve stínu Neverwinter Nights (1,2) a dalších RPG. Co se však povedlo je App Store, který na mě nechal Darth Malaka vykouknout mezi hrami. Koupil jsem za neuvěřitelných 13 Euro a jsem skutečně potěšen, že se takový klenot ukázal právě tady.
Samotná hra je kouzlem sama o sobě. Ten, kdo má rád RPG a navíc pozadí Star Wars má možnost si užít hráčsky skvěle ovladatelnou a dějově zajímavou hru. Na jednu stranu je trochu děsivý údaj v podobě odehraného času celkově. Na druhou stranu hra nabízí neskutečný počet možností. Velmi oceňuji například soudní stání a zábavné puzzle. Dochází k tomu, že boj nepřevyšuje hru samotnou. A to je velmi milé překvapení. Navíc kvalitativní šplhání postavy po jednotlivých úrovních. K tomu mě ještě baví možnost kombinovat členy party podle prostředí, kam se chystám vyběhnout.
Doporučuji všem, kdo mají čas na hraní her. Příběh je zajímavý a propletený nejedním překvapením. Tvůrci dosáhli svého záměru (pokud takový byl). Potěšit, pobavit, zapřemýšlet, zabojovat si a v neposlední řadě si užít různé typy světů na odlišných planetách té vzdálené galaxie…
