Great app

Great app, I wish every state EMS had one like this. Not only it skates the caller’s location and info, but it works with mountain rescue too and it contains a metronome for effective CPR with some tips.

The only wish I have for this app is to be more tightly integrated into iOS, so it could be activated by pushing the power button instead of the iOS 112 call. But i guess iOS isn’t opened to these “intrusions”.

Location problems :-(

Update/ Response to developer : You said there’s an option in My Profile to write the apartment number and floor, but I don’t see it ? I see only a single line for permanent residence. Is that all there is...?

Perhaps I wasn’t clear. I meant that location failure is a potential problem for any corner building that has 2 completely different addresses, with entrances on 2 completely different streets. 1 street/address is the house, and the other street/address is a business/shop/whatever. In such cases, if someone couldn’t verbally communicate to say they were home, EMS would think they were around the corner. At the very least that is a significant loss of time.

I hope that can be fixed someday because I like the app a lot otherwise. Good luck 🍀

Seems like a good app but locator is sometimes very inaccurate. Most street blocks have buildings that are on a corner. My street has 4. In these cases the locator is really wrong. It says I'm in the shop on the ground floor, which actually has its own address and entrance on another street. So even tho technically I'm 5 floors directly above that shop, I have a completely different address. In cases like this such a problem could delay help significantly and create confusion. I hope it could be fixed...it won't even let me edit the address manually. Otherwise the app seems great. Good luck with it :-)

Sometimes GPS can’t determine where you are due to lower signal accuracy when inside buildings, as the GPS signal works best outdoors and in open spaces. That's why we created the option in ‘My Profile’ to add your home address, including your apartment and floor number, as EMS crews have said that this greatly speeds up trying to locate callers in large apartment complexes. If you save your full address details in your user profile and tell the 155 emergency operator that you’re at home, the EMS crew will be able to reach you much faster. But you are right that it doesn't solve shops etc.

Great app!

Thanks to the team who developed such a helpful app. I’ve never used it yet (just tried in the test mode) and hope that will never have to use it, but I’m pretty sure that it will (and already have) save lots of lives !!!
