About Bunny Wailer
With Bob Marley and Peter Tosh, Bunny Wailer was a founding member of The Wailers, one of the most important acts in reggae history. His sweet tenor harmony was a key element of the group's sound as it evolved from Jamaican-style R&B in the ‘60s to their hugely successful Rastafarian period in the ‘70s. Wailer and Tosh left the group at the height of its popularity to pursue solo careers; Wailer would adopt elements of pop, dancehall, and rockers for his LPs, which earned three Grammys between 1991 and 1997. He died on March 2, 2021 at the age of 73.
