Better known as a prominent television actor, Fran Perea has had a fairly successful career as a singer as well, with albums charting highly in both his native Spain and in Finland. Born in November 1978, Perea (born Francisco Manuel Perea Bilbao in Malaga) has been featured in a number of television shows and films in addition to his musical works. His first album, La Chica de la Habitacion de al Lado, was released in 2003, and hit number two in Spain. In 2005, he released a follow-up, Punto y Aparte, which was a Top Ten seller in his native nation. La Chica de la Habitacion de al Lado would eventually crack the Top Ten on the album charts in Finland. ~ Chris True
