Hollow Corp hail from the northeastern French town of Colmar, and were founded in 2005 by vocalist Stephane Azam, guitarists Mathieu Roszak and Guillaume Schleret, bassist Romain Fiorot, and drummer Laurent Michalak. Taking inspiration from bands as diverse as Mastodon, Meshuggah, and France's own Gojira, the quintet released its 2007 debut album, Cloister of Radiance, through local independent Dental Records, but enthusiastic reviews soon resulted in a worldwide reissue by Prosthetic Records one year later. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia
