Dutch rockers IOS went through many early changes -- both in membership and labels -- before settling in and becoming a successful act. Formed in Groningen, the band first hit the charts in 1996-1997 with "Verleden Tijd," and released two albums before the end of the decade -- Heaven & Earth (1997) and Closer (1999). Lineup and label changes followed, leading up to the release of 2005's 4. By the time of 2007's Open, the band had settled on members Pepijn van den Boogaard on drums, Matthijs van Dongen on guitar, Jasper Forest on bass, Joost Haartsen on keyboards and vocals, Moost Marsman on vocals, and Sander Rozeboom on guitar. ~ Chris True
