About Locos por Juana

Locos por Juana are a self-described Latin urban orchestra from Miami whose wide-ranging musical approach draws from tropical styles such as reggae, cumbia, and salsa as well as urban styles such as hip-hop, rock, and Latin alternative. The multicultural band made its commercial recording debut in 2002 with a self-titled full-length album. Featuring the single "Que Es Lo Que Está Pasando," Locos por Juana was critically acclaimed, as was its follow-up, 2005's Música pa'l Pueblo. Featuring a duet with Armando Manzanero on "Adoro," Música pa'l Pueblo was nominated for Best Latin Rock Album at the 2005 Latin Grammy Awards. Their third album, 2008's La Verdad, also earned a Grammy nomination. ~ Jason Birchmeier
