I recorded myself once at 13 on a cassette recorder, playing and singing on guitar, the batteries started failing and the cassette began to playback at faster speed then slower speed. David Bowie, Hunky Dory (2015 Remaster) Ron Wood, I've Got My Own Album To Do Serge Gainsbourg, Histoire de Melody Nelson I love the craftsmanship and songwriting and production all around of these albums. The strings on Serge and Bowies records blow me away with their cinematic darkness. They are perfect records. On Ronnie's, I love how Keith and Ronnie weave. Tell us why you chose this song. “Paper Doll” Jason: I had recorded the drums in my bedroom one night, Mark doubled them later. Then I pressed record on the guitar without a single thought to what I was going to play. Then after one take on that, and then completely improvised the vocal. Fin What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Selling out the Fillmore for the first time. That to me was success. A dream since I was a kid and read epic stories and listened to live records from my heroes that had played in that legendary theatre. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We headlined Lollapooluza, Reading, Summersonic in Japan, so many festivals and played to millions of people. Played onstage with David Bowie at his last gig ever on earth, My bucket list would be to be grateful and watch what comes next...
