In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I discovered my Dad's Prince Buster 45s in the early 1980s. I was a 10 yr old 2 tone fan, & finding out that my dad owned the DNA of my favourite music proved that A) the musical world was bigger than I thought & B) my Dad was cooler than I thought. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Creation Rebel, Starship Africa Cymande, Cymande Johnny "Hammond" Smith, Gears Gears: Classic Mizell Brothers production. Soulful, Spacey, Funky & Innovative. Starship Africa: An introduction to On-U sounds that dragged me into Adrian Sherwood's orbit. Cymande: Unique blend of Soul, Funk, Rock & Rasta influences. Classic! Mega simple, and I still love it today. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Starting my 'Keep It Unreal' DJ residency in Manchester back in 1999. It is still running to this day! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I just need to keep exploring, experimenting & enjoying. Need to do more collaborations!
