Nightcrawlers

About Nightcrawlers

In 1995, Glasgow group Nightcrawlers found success on and off the dance floor with a reimagined version of an older single, “Push the Feeling On”. The snappy, house-influenced remix, produced by an American musician who went by the moniker MK, led to two more hits (“Don’t Let the Feeling Go”, “Surrender Your Love”) and propelled the group’s debut album, Let’s Push It, into the UK Top 20. Formed in 1992, Nightcrawlers are led by John Reid, a DJ and producer who would later co-write Kelly Clarkson’s “A Moment Like This” and Westlife’s No. 1 single “Unbreakable”. Reid has continued on as Nightcrawlers, teaming up with Taio Cruz for 2011’s “Cryin’ Over You” and leveraging the staying power of the “Push the Feeling On” remix. Not only was the song referenced on Pitbull’s 2009 single “Hotel Room Service”, but in 2021, Nightcrawlers teamed up with Newcastle DJ Riton for the hit “Friday”, which sampled the song.
