Angerer studied at the Vienna Academy of Music and the Vienna Conservatory, and has enjoyed a distinguished career as a composer and performer. He was the principal violist for The Vienna SO, chief conductor and director at many fine theatres and opera houses and orchestras, including The Vienna Chamber Orchestra. Angerer's compositional style owes much to the music of Hindemith. His conducting and compositional efforts have been often recorded on gramophone. ~ Lynn Vought
