Pony Pony Run Run

About Pony Pony Run Run

Pony Pony Run Run are a French electro-rock band with a dance-punk style. Founded in Nantes, France, in 2003, the band is a trio comprised of Gaëtan Réchin Lê Ky-Huong (aka G; guitar, vocals), Amaël Réchin Lê Ky-Huong (aka A; bass), and Antonin Pierre (aka T; keyboards). Citing a long list of influences that ranges from Devo and Kraftwerk to Pavement and Weezer, Pony Pony Run Run made their full-length debut in 2009 with You Need Pony Pony Run Run. The lead single "Hey You" was a big hit, reaching the Top 20 in France and the Top Ten in Belgium, and proved so popular that it warranted the release of a nine-track Hey You remixes EP (2009). "Walking on a Line" was released as the follow-up single, and Walking on a Line Remixes was released in 2010. ~ Jason Birchmeier
