    Umbilicus, Lightsabers, & Lightning Guns

We had a second episode of Sci-Fi Tech Support, but technical glitches and a poor Internet connection made it unsalvageable.  Nearly a year later, Jaime and Patrick tried again.  This episode, recorded in November 2015, revisits Mystery Science Theater 3000's umbilicus linking The Satellite of Love to Earth.  We also discuss how magnets could be used to create lightsabers such as those seen in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and did you know the U.S. Army is shooting lightning bolts down laser beams?  Finally, we want to know from our listeners how you think "Help me Obi-Wan"-style holograms might work.
