DS photo allows you to browse through the photo collection on your Synology NAS server on the go, as well as interact with friends using the comments in real time. Organising your photos is easy: with traditional albums, using tags to create virtual albums or with a simple tap with the timeline mode! Better yet, download albums to the iDevice to view them even when no network connection is available, and use the Photo Backup to effortlessly upload your photos taken with your iDevice onto your own personal cloud.

Entwicklung geht sehr langsam voran
Die App ist jetzt gut für das iPad Pro 12.9 zu benutzen, läuft schnell im wLAN, es gibt nun auch Geo-Datenauswertung in Form einer Kartendarstellung - sehr schön, die Geo-Daten können auch in Textform eingesehen werden, man benötigt ein performantes NAS - ich habe nunmehr eine 718+, dann funktioniert auch Thumbnail-Generierung zügig,
Leider fehlen noch viele Funktionen, simpler Mailversand z.B., Drucken geht, die Photostation im Webbrowser ist ebenfalls eine sehr gute Idee, leider fehlt auch hier vieles an Funktionen, das wäre bei beiden: Kopieren, Verschieben, Mailversand, sinnvolle Exportformate, Bildnotizen, Anlage von Ordnern, usw......
Leider werden auch noch nicht alle Dateiformate akzeptiert und angezeigt,
Naja, schauen wir mal, ich bin Fan von Synology Geräten, auch im Geschäftseinsatz, man könnte aber noch einiges verbessern.
Automatisches Backup Funktion fehlt
Gute App, doch leider fehlt beim iPhone beim automatischen Backup von Fotos eine Funktion die Quelle auszuwählen aus dem die Fotos gesichert werden sollen.
Somit werden alle aufgenommenen Fotos oder Videos im ausgewählten Zielordner gespeichert... hier kann man leider nicht selektieren!
(Fehler behoben!)Geofencing funktioniert nicht
Tolle app und fast alles klappte bis jetzt sehr gut und die App ist einfach zu bedienen! Leider funktionierte Geofencing vorher nicht. Zwei Tage nachdem ich es mitteilte und eine Bewertung abgegeben habe wurde das Problem behoben und es gab ein Update! Super schneller Service! Leider konnte ich es noch nicht richtig testen. 5 Sterne wenn das noch läuft! Danke !!
