Layers pile upon layers, doors transport you between realities, strange creatures and wild environments blend together into a fascinating interactive collage you’ll want to peel apart to discover what lies underneath.
Schön gezeichnet, kurze Spieldauer
Gorogoa ist ein handgezeichnetes Puzzle-Spiel. Der Protagonist versucht durch das sammeln von 5 Früchten ein Monster zu besänftigen. Grafisch ist das Spiel sehr gelungen - schöne Szenerien aus verschiedenen kulturellen Hintergründen werden hier professionell vermengt. Die Spielmechanik ist auf maximal 4 Felder ausgelegt, in denen Karten miteinander kombiniert oder voneinander getrennt werden.
Insgesamt braucht ein ungeübter Puzzler nicht viel mehr als 3 Stunden um den Abspann zu sehen. Die kurze Spieldauer und ein paar wenige trial-and-error Passagen führen zu einem Stern Abzug. Ansonsten ist Gorogoa sehr zu empfehlen.
Malerisch verträumtes Spiel
Dieses Spiel lebt von seinen liebevoll gezeichneten Bildern und seiner unkonventionellen Spielidee, die manchmal sehr entfernt an das Spiel Framed erinnert. Die zugrundeliegende Story ist etwas unklar, die zu lösende Aufgabe aber nicht. Auch wenn ein paar Stimmen anderer Meinung zu sein scheinen, ist keines der Rätsel zu schwer. Ich hing zweimal ein bisschen und hab dann jeweils nach einer Pause festgestellt, dass ich Hinweise übersehen hatte. Sehr empfehlenswert. 5 Sterne.
