Fight the evil Black Duck army as they try to take over the planet using their technology and a huge collection of foot-soldiers.
You’ll get to fight on plane yards, jungles, arctica, egypt and finally the gates of Hell. Drive tanks, fly jetpacks and shoot eggs out of a chicken-gun… ..!
Gunslugs is a fast paced run and jump game with procedurally generated levels and a rogue-like permadeath element. You get one live, and the only way
you can extend that is by running into the Voodoo priest selling continue statues.
Unlock the roster of Gunslugs heroes as you go, and use them to advance your way to the gates of Hell to defeat the final boss.
Collect coins to buy upgrades, improvements, and mini-games like the Donkey Kong inspired Arcade game, the Gameboy level, the train-ride, sketchbook world and much more..
you might even bump into the man with a bow-tie and a blue box..

Bester Action-Platformer im Store!
Unglaublich tolles Spiel. Erinnert mich vom Feeling und der Präsentation her stark an Super Crate Box. Nur hier mit langen und zufällig generierten Levels. Der Chiptune-Soundtrack ist genial, die Pixelgrafik super, Steuerung ist punktgenau und die Buttons sind sogar anpassbar. Man rennt wild ballernd durch die Gegend und muss dauergrinsen. Es gibt freischaltbare Charaktere, großartige Minigames (eines z.B. im Gameboy-Stil), Endgegner. Gunslugs ist mein derzeitiges Lieblingsspiel und wird es eine Weile bleiben. Alles richtig gemacht.
Macht Spass, aber etwas grobpixlig
Gunslugs mach Spass. Keine Frage. Actionreiches Gameplay in 8-Bit Optik. Und genau da liegt auch gleichzeitig das größte Problem: Auf einem Retina iPad sieht die Grafik einfach _zu_ pixlig und grob aus. Hier würde ich mir etwas Feinschliff wünschen. Dafür einen Stern Abzug.
Ansonsten gibt es aber nichts zu meckern. Der Sound passt perfekt und wird nicht nervig. Das Gameplay ist schnell und treibend.
Was mich noch sehr positiv aufgefallen ist: Man kann die Position der Steuerung frei aussuchen. Das ist ungemein praktisch.

Great app especially with the joypad controls
Is there any option to change the controls somehow? I would like to switch A and B setting at the jump on pushing the cross up button.. That's the only thing I don't like cuz I'm constantly jumping around cuz there are two jump buttons set and the fire button would be better in A.
Any possibility there is going to be an update on this?
