Die Story, die Grafik, die Musik - das ist einfach ein wunderschönes Spiel. Ich hatte es lange auf meiner Wunschliste und bin froh, dass ich es mir nun gekauft habe.
Alles Richtig gemacht, außer das Wesentliche
Während Old Man‘s Journey mich zu Beginn mit seiner hervorragenden Musik und prächtigen Inszenierung überraschte und fesselte. So rüde stieß es mich ungefähr zur Mitte des Spiels wieder ab. Die Erinnerungen mit deren Hilfe das Spiel wohldosierte Story-Happen kredenzt, und es im wesentlichen versteht diese so zu würzen, dass man entweder ein flaues oder ein wohliges Gefühl in der Magengegend erfährt, werden leider mit der Zeit immer vorhersehbarer und verlieren somit ihre Wirkung. Das Gameplay, ohne Frage innovativ, ruht sich auf seinem Status aus und vermag es leider nicht im Spielverlauf forderndere Rätsel zu stellen. Gerne hätte ich mich dabei ertappt wie ich unterwegs darüber nachdenke, wie ich den alten Mann zum nächsten Bildschirm geleiten kann. So fühlt sich das Spiel am -viel zu frühen- Ende wie eine riesige Menge verschenktes Potential an. Durch Präsentation und Story jedoch einigermaßen seinen Preis wert, daher 3/5 Sterne.
