Dan Lissvik is a Swedish musician, producer, and remixer best known for co-founding the Balearic dance duo Studio (along with Rasmus Hägg) as well as the Gothenburg-based Service record label. Both Studio and Service were launched in 2001 with a series of singles (credited to the Studio) that blended new wave-influenced indie rock with Afro-beat, dub, and Krautrock influences. Studio released no further material, eventually announcing their breakup in 2011, but Lissvik remained prolific as a producer and remixer, in addition to his own projects. In 2015, Lissvik released an uptempo neo-disco single titled "Shuvit!" on the Smalltown Supersound label. The following year, he made his full-length debut for the label with Midnight. ~ Paul Simpson
