Wie Spiele funktionieren
Ein grandioser Podcast über die Wissenschaft hinter Spielen. Das Team Sturm/Engelstein bietet eine tolle Mischung aus Unterhaltung und (fundierter) Information von Wahrscheinlichkeitsrechnung bis Psychologie.
Wer sich dafür interessiert, wie Spielmechaniken funktionieren und welche Fallstricke es gibt, kommt an Ludology nicht vorbei.
Interessante Perspektive auf die Brettspielewelt
Während die meisten anderen Brettspiele-Podcasts sich auf das Reviewen von Spielen spezialisiert haben, hat es Ludology geschafft, eine interessanten, frischen Ansatz zu finden: Hier werden die Mechanismen von Spielen sowie der Design-Prozess genau unter die Lupe genommen.
Jeff Engelstein, bekannt aus dem "Game Tech"-Segment beim Brettspiel-Blockbusterpodcast "The Dice Tower", ist ein äußerst gebildeter und intelligenter Mann und hat viele interessante (und darüber hinaus häufig empirisch fundierte) Meinungen zu Brettspielen.
Mich persönlich interessiert das Thema des Podcast nur zu einem gewissen Grade, daher nur 4 Sterne, aber Ludology ist zweifellos gut gemacht und jedem, der es mag Brettspielen "unter die Haube zu gucken", sollte auf jeden Fall mal reinhören.
