Description

There are many books that people say are good, or even great, but how to know which ones you should read? Christian and Jonas will help you decide, as they discuss great literature, and decide whether it is actually any good.

sometimes too heavy-handed

although the two hosts make good points, they are sometimes much too focused on authorial intent. that author's dead, haven't ye heard?
also these merit discussions are very tiresome. "good" book. ugh. come on. I don't know you but I'm sure you're better than that. also: lighten up! make a few jokes! don't be so concerned with your accents. lit is fun!!

This is well-dosed discussion.

I enjoy that podcast a lot! It's fun and made me like literature a bit more. Also, it's understandable without having read the books, actually. I like this podcast for its conciously silly premise to determine whether a book is actually good - the discussions of the two hosts contain well-dosed seriousness, humour and cursewords.

Once upon a time..

...I started listening to podcasts with Hoaxilla. When I ran out of episodes, I found Methodisch Inkorrekt. They recommended SciencePie. Then an Outofadog-Crossover was the next in line. Now I subscribed your Podcast as well.

This is great stuff. I would never have heard about some of the literature you talk about. Please go on.
