Album Review

This single happens to be the vinyl version of the song that was supposed to jettison Cornershop to be the next big alternative breakout. Unfortunately the listening public didn't want to hear something that was fresh and original at the time, which is a shame, because "Brimful of Asha" was a catchy mid-tempo pop number that combined some hints of digital beats, acoustic guitars, and even the occasional influence of traditional Indian folk. Sometimes there's no justice in this world.
