Album Review

Emmylou Harris' graceful, elegant, and smooth synthesis of country, folk, and pop gave her a long career, a career that is notable for its quality and consistency, and she is a true American treasure, one who has seldom stumbled, always delivering great songs in a voice that carries a kind of sad, haunted, and yet redemptive certainty.
