Our newest feature, ‘Be My AI’, is a pioneering AI assistant integrated in the Be My Eyes app. You can send images via the app to Be My AI, which will answer questions about that image and provide conversational AI generated visual descriptions for a wide variety of tasks in 36 languages. Be My AI is powered by artificial intelligence and is able to provide assistance in a wide variety of situations, from checking makeup before a night out to translating text from hundreds of different languages.

46k blind people and 600k people helping!
This is why ‘we’, as helpers, don’t get many calls. There simply are “too many” volunteers to cater to people’s egotistical personalities. I see people complaining about not getting calls or not getting “enough” calls, so they delete the app.
If you don’t get calls often, it just means that the blind ARE being helped; maybe not by you, but by someone. Isn’t that kind of what it’s all about? People helping people!
DON’T download if you’re only doing it to satisfy your egotistical needs!

Hjælpe kan alle..
Dette er en fantastisk god udviklet app og godt fundet på. Blinde og svagtseende kan ringe op til "skyen" af hjælpere som har meldt sig til. Her vælges der en tilfældig hjælper som så ringes op. Hvis du har tiden besvarer du opkaldet, ellers går det bare videre til den næste hjælper. Når et opkald besvares går der et lille øjeblik og du får kamera og taleforbindelse med vedkommende som ønsker hjælp. Hjælpen består oftest af kontrol af udløbsdatoer på fødevarer, farvevalg , tabte ting, generel orientering m.m . Hjælpen tager sjældent mere end 5 min. For at der kan være lidt "sport" i at være en god hjælper er der også et point system. Jo flere du hjælper jo flere point. Ved tilmeldingen fortæller du om du er blind/svagtseende eller om du er seende. Den handicappede kan ved chikane melde dette ind og hjælperen vil herved blive udelukket af gruppen og ikke kunne hjælpe fremover. Der er også nogle andre "misbrugs"-test som foretages. App kan kun anbefales. Hvem synes ikke det er en skøn fornemmelse at have hjulpet en anden....
