Description

The iMindfulness app is now available with guidance in English.

When installed you can choose English, Danish or Norwegian meditations.

It has been designed for use by beginners to mindfulness meditation, as well as experienced mindfulness practitioners.

Besides an introduction to mindfulness and how to practice it, the app contains 3 guided meditations by Christene Burgess:
༜ Power Pause (5 min)
༜ Breath Meditation (10 min)
༜ Body Scan (28 min)

Additionally the app provides a silent meditation timer, allowing you to set a bells only meditation for the length of time you choose. To help support you create a regular mindfulness practice you can set reminders to practice. You can also see a record of how long and often you have practiced, enabling you to track your meditaion practice.

The app is developed in a collaboration between therapist Christene Burgess, psychotherapist Stuart Baker and iDeal Development.

There is a wide range of in-app purchases that can help you to dig deeper into mindfulness. Once you’ve got the basics of mindfulness you might want to explore some of the other mindfulness practices we offer. These cover specific areas to support your wellbeing, from developing kindness for yourself, to tapping into your inner resources and strengths. At times we all face challenges and there are some practices aimed at helping support you in times of difficulty, to help you slow down, stand-back and perhaps gain a fresh perspective.

Afstressende

Lækkert efter en arbejdsdag.

Desværre

Jeg har arbejdet med mindfullness i 2 år, hvilket er et kanon godt værktøj til at lære sig selv bedre at kende, og samtidig lære at tackle udfordringer, store som små, der opstår i løbet af en dag.
Jeg giver dog kun denne app 2 ud af 5 stjerner, da jeg synes, at app'en virker uprofessionel og personligt bryder jeg mig ikke om stemmen, da den for mig, virker hård og kold, jeg har svært ved at finde den tryghed jeg normalt får, når jeg laver disse øvelser.

Flot

Jeg synes det er en flot app og i mindfulness ånden. Godt koncept med at have mindfulness lige ved hånden. Jeg vil gerne bruge mindfulness, men får det sjældent gjort. Det er lidt lettere fra mobilen :) Ærgerligt at der ikk er flere gratis sessions :/
