Subscription Information:
As part of our goal to help more pilots succeed, we offer the LogTen service completely free until you have logged more than 50 hours of total time! And with or without a subscription, you always get updates, and you always get full access to your data, where you can view, edit, generate reports, export, and print.
Pricing may vary by location (see pricing under Top in App Purchases, or right in the App in the Store section of Settings). Your subscription will be charged to your credit card through your iTunes account and will automatically renew 24 hours prior to the end of the current subscription period, unless auto-renew is disabled beforehand. Subscriptions may be managed and auto-renewal may be disabled by going to your iTunes account settings after purchase. A subscription cannot be cancelled during the active subscription period.

Unreasonable subscription strategy
I bought access to LogTen on both Mac and iPhone back in 2012. It was NOT a subscription, but a one time payment for each of the two devices. I am not interested in being dependent on a subscription, throughout a 20+ year flying career, as I only use the logbook to “count hours” which a homemade spreadsheet technically could do just as well.
However, a few years back suddenly LogTen “stopped updating” the app, and when I complained that it was no longer working on my iPhone, I was informed that I could just refrain from software updating my phone.
Frankly this is pure disrespect towards a customer that decided to support LogTen, when it was still early days.
I am not asking for freebies, as any service will cost something, but it seems that LogTen has gotten too big to care about the individual customer, and the service of these.
I make a stern effort to let as many colleagues as possible know, that they should avoid LogTen, and instead go with a logbook supplier that offer better customer service, and a better price, for a fairly simple product.
