Country singer/songwriter Dexter Roberts first gained national recognition as a Top Ten finalist on Season 13 of American Idol in 2014. The Alabama native eventually finished seventh overall and released his debut EP, Dream About Me, the following year via First Launch Records. While the label soon folded, Roberts soldiered on undeterred, returning in early 2017 with his follow-up EP, the all-acoustic Dexter Roberts Unplugged, Vol. 1. ~ Timothy Monger
