A moniker lifted out of the Old Testament by performance artist/multi-instrumentalist John Ringhofer, Half-Handed Cloud specializes in creating complex pop songs that are nonetheless economical (often a minute in length). With formal ties to similarly minded artists like the Danielson Famile -- by virtue of his connection to the Sounds Familyre label -- Half-Handed Cloud is one of the growing coterie of uniquely avant-garde Christian artists. Ringhofer's releases include 2001's Learning About Your Scale (2001), We Haven't Just Been Told, We've Been Loved (2002), Thy Is a Word & Feet Need Lamps (2005), the sprawling Halos + Lassos (2006), and As Stowaways in Cabinets of Surf...
