Formed during informal jam sessions at the Celtic Circle of Bridge the Abbot, Sonorien Du has evolved from an acoustic, folk-rooted quartet into a high-energy Celtic rock band. While their foundation continues to rest on the traditional coupling of the oboe- or bassoon-like bombard and chromatic accordion, the group has grown to include electric guitars, fiddle, drums, and keyboards.
