Legacy's The Best of the Dubliners: Irish Favorites is a sparse but fairly typical "best-of" set from the legendary Irish folk outfit. Dubliners classics like "Off to Dublin in the Green," "Donegal Reel/The Longford Collector," "Holy Ground," and "The Foggy Dew" sound good no matter where they appear, but there are far better compilations out there for someone new to the band, such as Sanctuary's The Ultimate Collection — Spirit of the Irish and EMI Gold's The Best of the Original Dubliners, Rovi

Nearly three decades since they first came together during informal sessions at O'Donoghue's Pub in Dublin, the Dubliners remain one of the most influential of Ireland's traditional folk bands.
