Reseña de álbum

Wilson's four JSP CDs are excerpted here with one cut added from Texas Blues Guitar Summit. It's a mix of down-home electric blues, 12-bar shuffles and boogies, cool West Coast swing, and funk. His guitar playing is simple like J.B. Hutto and John Lee Hooker, and he favors a staccato picking style and an exciting sound. Someone sounds like the explosive Albert Collins on a couple of cuts. The bands are very tight, with some horns. Great JSP sound.
