Blue Ash

About Blue Ash

Cult heroes of first-generation American power pop, Blue Ash formed in Ohio at the tail end of the 1960s, and toured relentlessly throughout the early '70s, building up a strong following. They released their first album, NO MORE, NO LESS, in 1973, and over the years it earned a reputation as a Badfinger-esque classic. It didn't sell, however, and they were dropped from Mercury Records. Blue Ash didn't record again until 1977's FRONT PAGE NEWS, on Playboy Records, but that label soon went under, and by '78, the band followed suit. NO MORE, NO LESS became a collector's item, but was finally reissued in 2008.
