A hard-hitting math, sludge, and stoner metal unit based out of Berlin, Germany, Earthship was founded in 2010 by ex-Ocean drummer Jan Oberg. The band inked a deal with Pelagic Records shortly after forming and issued their debut album, Exit Eden, in 2011. The LP's crushing mix of doom and prog helped to land Earthship a high profile show with Torche, followed by a tour with Intronaut, the Ocean, and Red Fang. The monstrous Iron Chest dropped in 2013, followed in 2014 by the equally pulverizing Withered. 2015 saw the band sign with Napalm Records and begin work on the much-anticipated fourth studio long-player.
